Olive Alice Bean

Mrs. Olive Alice Bean, age 82, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, May 26, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Bean was a native of Maine and a longtime resident of Ocean Springs for 39 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond F. Bean, parents, Perley and Dora Strom, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include two daughters, Edwina Anne Neill of Vancleave and Alice Rae Bean of Ocean Springs, two sons, a beloved grandson, Eddy Lee Neill, and extended family and friends; Ginger Winter, Mike and Wanda Denham, Mack, Mitzi, and Rachael Harper, Ann Gannam, Dr. Rodberg, Dr. Butcher, Dr. Hudson, and all the doctors and staff at the Ocean Springs Hospital. Visitation will be on Monday, June 1, 2009, from 11 AM - 12 Noon, with a 12 Noon chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Miracle Network, Make - A- Wish Foundation, American Heart Association, Disabled Veterans of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars or your local Law Enforcement.
