Olive N. Bryan

Mrs. Olive N. "Ollie" Bryan, age 85, of Ocean Springs, MS., died on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, in her home in Ocean Springs with her husband and daughters at her side. Mrs. Bryan was born in Hamden, Connecticut, and was raised in Sarasota, FL. Bill Bryan, a retired Air Force Fighter Pilot, and husband of 58 years, speaks of her as the best military wife ever, his companion and best friend. Her children, Gale Singley of Pass Christian, MS., Julie Hurst of Norfolk, VA., Joni Bryan of Mobile, AL., and William E. Bryan III of Raleigh, North Carolina, feel that her love of animals, gardening, and the environment, continue to be an inspiration to them in their life directions. Ollie is also survived by six grandchildren , four great-grandchildren, and her beloved labrador retriever "Kate". On Friday, February 11, 2005, there will be visitation from 6-8 PM at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to ones' favorite charity.
