Ollie M. Cox

Ollie M. Cox, 95, of Ocean Springs, went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2012. Mrs. Cox was a native of Biloxi, MS and a resident of Ocean Springs, MS for the past 35 years. She was employed with Kuljis Drug Store in Biloxi for 22 years and a member of Cedar Lake Christian Assembly, Biloxi, MS. She was preceded in her death by her husband Joseph A. Cox Sr. and parents, Moral E. Maples and Matilda Maples, three sisters Ruby Wright, Eva Wells, Verna Smith, and one brother Jack Maples, a daughter-in-law, Betty Cox and Jeremiah Redman, a great- great grandson. Mrs. Cox is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Brown (Jerry), Spring, Texas, one son, Joseph (Arnie) Cox Jr. (Carol), Ocean Springs, Mississippi, five grandchildren, Jerry Brown Jr., Ocean Springs, Ginger Chappelle, Spring, Texas, Joseph T. Cox, Richard Cox and Jimmy Cox, Ocean Springs, nine great- grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren, a niece, Betty Sconiers and other nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. Visitation will be on Friday, February 10, 2012, from 10 am until 11 am, with an 11 am chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. A private burial will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
