Orin Husley, Jr.

Mr. Orin W. "Mack" Husley, Jr., born February 2, 1938, passed away on September 9, 2006 at the age of 68. After Mr. Husley graduated as Valedictorian of Woolmarket Consolidated High School, class of 1956, he began his career in the United States Air Force continuing on to Irby Steel Inc, Ingalls Shipbuilding, Goldin Industries, and retired from Louis Smith Construction and Welding. He spent his days enjoying his family and friends. He has been a lifelong resident of the Woolmarket Community. Mr. Husley is survived by his wife of 47 years, Martha Wenger Husley; his mother, Mittie Husley; and four children, Terri Husley of St. Martin, Monica Mason, Kendall Husley and his wife Dana, Lindell Husley and his wife Wendi all of Woolmarket; and several children whom he considered his own, Brandon Husley, Jeff Clark, Buford Summers and Laura Husley. He also leaves behind fourteen precious grandchildren who adored their Pawpaw, Michael and Maria SantaCruz; Marc, Jonathan, and September Mason; Jeremy and Cameron Husley; Ashley, Joey and Kayla Unger; Danielle Husley; Courtney, Sarah and Haley Skiados; three sisters, Sandra "Tunni" Ladner, Maynell Holland and Linda Boyette; and a brother, Emerson "EJ" Husley all from Woolmarket; and eight nephews and two nieces. Mr. Husley was preceded in death by his father, Orin W. Husley, Sr.; his grandparents, Emerson and Josephine Ladner, and John B. "Boss" and Mary Husley. He loved everyone he came in contact with and he never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by everyone. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 11:00am at Coalville United Methodist Church where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Coalville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Husley, Samuel Husley, Gilbert Holland, Jeff Broadus, Buford Summers, and Jeff Clark, and serving as honorary pallbearers, Jay Broadus, Emerson "Satch" Husley, and Kurt Holland. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
