Ossie Dell Cross

Ossie Dell Cross, age 82, died Monday, July 7, 2014 at home. She worked at the Gulfport VA 57G2 from 1983 to 1996 before transferring to Biloxi VA where she worked to retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dick Cross; son, Richard Donald Cross; and daughter, Eva Christine McCue. Ossie is survived by sister, Mary Jane Blankenship; daughter, Yvonne Anderson; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Disabled American Veterans, 2600 23rd Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home (228-374-5650), followed by a memorial service.
