Ottis Lee Davis

Mr. Ottis Lee Davis, age 76, of Gulfport, MS passed away on August 24, 2018 in Gulfport. Born in Gulfport, on August 26, 1941, Ottis was the son of the late Ottis Carl Davis and Elizabeth Lee Davis of Gulfport. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anna Holmes Davis of Gulfport; daughter, Susan Davis Penick and son-law, Joseph Michael Penick of Denver, CO; and two grandchildren, Parker Kathryn Penick from Baton Rouge, LA and Davis Brock Penick of Denver, CO. A graduate of Harrison Central High School in 1959, Ottis attended Perkinston Jr. College before graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1969. Ottis also served two years in the U.S. Navy. He was an active member of First Baptist Church in Gulfport and had a successful career in Insurance and Real Estate. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Gulfport.
