Patrice Annette Betts

Patrice Annette Betts, age 39, passed on to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2025 at her childhood home in Gautier, MS.

Patrice was born November 27, 1985, in Panama City, FL to Joe Lee Betts Jr. and Johnnette Betts. She was a 2004 graduate of Gautier High School with aspirations of becoming a professional chef. Patrice received an Associates degree in Business Management from MGCCC in 2006. She worked for AT&T for 12 years. She was a very loving and caring person with a kind heart. She always saw the best in others. Patrice received Jesus Christ as her savior at Jesus Christ Baptist Church, which she attended faithfully for many years. Patrice was a fighter and strong in the faith until the end. She loved life and spending time with friends and family. She never missed a chance to spoil her nieces and nephews. Patrice enjoyed the simple things; going to Starbucks, caring for her beloved cats (Rolina, King, and Diamond), crafting, and soap making.

Patrice is preceded in death by her mother, Johnnette Betts.

She is survived by her father, Joe Lee Betts Jr.; her siblings, Wanakee (Aaron) Sharp, Rachel (Joseph) Tuten, Rebekah Betts, Joseph Betts, and Joanna (Uriah) Gresham; her nieces and nephews, Malachi and Nora Sharp, Olivia and Mark Tuten, and Kaiah Gresham; and many aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

 Family, friends, and others who had the joy of knowing Patrice take comfort in knowing she is at peace now with our Lord.
