Patricia Lynn Clendenon

Mrs. Patricia Lynn Clendenon, 76, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS.

Mrs. Lynn was born on August 7, 1946, in Jackson, MS to the late Richard Bailey and Audrey Jacqueline Holmes. She graduated from Forrest Hill High School in 1964. She completed a correspondence course throughout the years where she acquired an Associates in Business. Over the years, Mrs. Clendenon received a license for accountancy and real estate business.

During Mrs. Clendenon’s high school years, she was a majorette where she made many lifelong friends. After she was married, she began her love of arts and crafts. She was always creating beautiful masterpieces that she sold for others to enjoy.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Richard Bailey and Audrey Jacqueline Holmes; three brothers, Ralph James (Jimmy) Graves, Douglas Wayne Holmes, and Ronald (Ronnie) Keith Holmes.

Mrs. Clendenon is survived by her best friend and husband of 53 years, William Kessler Clendenon. She is also survived by her sons, Joseph Kessler Clendenon, Sr. (Christine) of Coffeeville, MS, Jacob William Clendenon (Kasey) of Stillwater, MN, and Jamison Lee Clendenon (Tonya) of Gulfport, MS. She is also survived by a brother, Richard S. Holmes (Donna) of Jackson, MS, six grandchildren: Joseph Jr., Jace, Chandler, Kessler, Jonathan, and Waylon, one great grandchild, and a host of extended family.
