Patricia Louise Cannette

Mrs. Patricia Louise Cannette, 73, of D'Iberville, MS, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, in D'Iberville. Mrs. Cannette was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. She was a homemaker, devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed working in her garden. Mrs. Cannette was preceded in death by her parents, George and Olga Moran; a son, Darrin Cannette; grandson, Brandon Breal; brother, Matt Moran; sister, Barbara Jean Moran, and a brother-in-law, Leo Nelson. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Lee Cannette, Sr.; two daughters, Karen Cannette and Tricia McMahon and her husband, Mike; two sons, Lee Cannette, Jr. and his wife, Sandy, and Richard Cannette; four sisters, Janet O'Friel and her husband, Edward, Kay Joachim and her husband, Bobby, Brenda Nelson, and Judy Martino; two brothers, Danny Moran and his wife, Brenda, and Donald Moran; and six grandchildren, Taryn and Jessica Cannette, Derek Breal, Patrick, Brett and Cassie McMahon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, 10446 Lemoyne Boulevard, D'Iberville, MS 39540. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
