Patricia Ann Owen McGuire

Patricia Ann Owen McGuire, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on December 26, 2016 into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and the canines of Campbell Drive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl D. and Audrey Owen. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bob” McGuire; her children, Sheryl (Rick) Crador, Bobby (Michelle) Jones, Stacy (Bob) Thunelius, and Stephanie (Vandy) Mitchell. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Evan, Madeline, Tasha, Ashton, Ronnie, Alyvia, Ian, Gavin, Trenton, Sarah Grace, Philip, and Natalie Ann; her great-grandchildren, Grace, Ava, and Taylor; her brother, Earl D. “Buzzy” (Merry) Owen, Jr.; and her faithful canine companion, Patrick. Those who knew Pat knew the love she had for her family and friends. She looked forward to each summertime so she could share her home on the river. Her love of living on the river was always such a huge part of who she was. The river truly was her happy place. We would like to thank Dr. Pande and his staff for the love and incredible care she received over the last 12 years. Her last wish was to celebrate Christmas with her family. We are truly blessed God gave her this last wish. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate memorial donations made to one of the following charities close to her heart: The Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe is in charge of arrangements.
