It was early in the morning on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, when God sent his angels to escort the soul of Mrs. Patricia Wiltz Parker from her tired Earthly body to be with her Lord and Savior in her new Heavenly home.
Mrs. Parker was born in Gulfport, MS on December 3, 1939, living her life in Biloxi, MS. She was a loving and kind southern Christian lady that was a guiding light to her family by the way she lived life. Mrs. Parker went to Nativity BVM School for 12 years in Biloxi, where she met her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 52 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Parker, Sr.; her mother and father, Maurice and Norma Kornman Wiltz; her sisters, Mary Jo McKinney and Maureen Lizania; and her grandson, Justin Parker.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her sister, Adele Pelaz; her children, Ray Parker, Jr. (Carolyn), Tylah (James) Montgomery and Crystal Davis; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Lance Barnes for 30 years of great service and friendship given to our mother during her last year of life.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made in Mrs. Parker’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Nativity BVM Cathedral on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until Mass time. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following at the home of her daughter, Tylah, 14285 Old Woolmarket Road in Woolmarket.
