Patricia "Pat" Ann Miller

Patricia Ann Miller, known to her loved ones as Pat, peacefully passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 83 in Ocean Springs, MS.

She was born on October 31, 1940 in Olean, NY to Howard L. Cole and Flora M. Farrington Cole. Pat had a caring spirit and a zest for life that endeared her to all who knew her. Her loving nature left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Pat faithfully served her nations as a Federal Civil Servant retiring from Keesler Air Force Base in 2006. Her dedication to excellence made a lasting impact on her colleagues and all those she served. Pat was an accomplished horseshoe pitcher, earning the prestigious title of 1995 Mississippi Women’s Class A State Champion. She also thoroughly enjoyed fishing, dancing, dart throwing, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, James Cole, Martin Cole, and Larry Cole; her son, Chester Rinehults; and her granddaughter, Allison Rinehults.

Pat is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Miller; her children, Vicky (Jonathan) McNelis, Scott (Karen) Rinehults, Gregory (Laurel) Bidwell, Ricki (Ron) Childers, Linda Durbin, Dawn (John) Wagner, and Rusty Miller; her grandchildren, Shannon Guzman, Michelle Dean, Shawn Fuller, Ryan Fiorentino, James and Lauren Durbin, Megan Havelin, Zackary Wagner, Shawn Miller, Chanella Charvat, Scotty Rinehults, Jennifer Rinehults, and Margaret Able; many great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces; and her cat, Annie.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Hospice of Light, both families, and her nephew, Rich Cole.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior.
