Patricia “Trish” Diane Lacy Perkins, age 81, of Gulfport passed away on May 13, 2023, of natural causes at Memorial Hospital.
Trish was born on October 7, 1941, in Denver, CO to Charles Lacy and Evelyn “Pat” O’Brien Lacy. She attended Littleton High School in Littleton, CO and took classes at Adams State University in Alamosa, CO. Trish married Brian Lee and the marriage ended in divorce. She later married Leo. E. Perkins on July 27, 1991.
Trish was the owner of Sage & Cedar art and frame shop in Cedaredge, CO. She was a very respected oil and watercolor artist with awards in those field. Trish taught classes and also ventured into crafts. She moved to Littleton, CO due to her husband’s job and continued in the art field. Along with her love for painting, Trish was known as a Denver Broncos #1 fan and friend of Randy Gradishar, a personal favorite.
She was a very devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known to her grandchildren as “Mammy”. Due to health problems, Trish was advised to live at the elevation of sea level, so they moved to Gulfport., MS. She would, through Facebook, correspond with her nieces, nephews, and cousins for many years. She was loved by all who met and talked with her, especially her husband who misses her terribly.
Trish was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Pat Lacy and siblings, Dr. Al Lacy, Barbara Swisher, and Judi Young.
Survivors include her husband, Leo E. Perkins; children, Julie, Janet, Mike, Jim, Sara, and Jeff; grandchildren, Chase, Trey, Nicholas, Rachel, Cassie, Trevor, Taylor, Ryan, Jacob, Joe, Kahla, Keely, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Julia, Lydia, and Kylie; and brother, Jim Lacy.
A memorial service will take place at Three Trees Chapel, 13416 W. Arbor Place, Littleton, CO, Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 2:25 pm (mountain time) and a reception will follow until 6:00pm (mountain time). The family has made a request for all attendees to wear Denver Broncos attire. Cremation services were provided by Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport.
