Mr. Patrick "Shea" Guice, 37, of D'Iberville, MS, died suddenly Thursday, February 4, 2010, at his sister's, Cindy's home, in Latimer where he was residing.
He has joined his mother, Gwen, his father, Rookie, grandmother, Teresa, his brother, Sean, as well as many other loved ones. "Shea", as he was known by, loved to fish and hunt. He recently got his first deer. He was ready to get the big one though, which he believed he was feeding on his land, where he hoped to move to very soon. Unfortunately he didn't quite make it there. For that, I'm so very sad for him because that is all he really wanted; something of his own to enjoy, love and care for---- to take pride in. He was so close. But as he will be missed dearly, I have to find some comfort knowing that they, my mom, dad, grandma and brother are all together once again. Those of us who are left behind will think of him often. So many stories to tell----some good and some bad. For me, he was so much more than my brother. He was more like one of my children. I will have a huge void not having to care for or worry for him any longer, knowing he must be in a better place so they say. I will feel some peace for him finally.
"Shea" is survived by his loving sister, Cindy (Danny) Poulos; niece, Colbi Lynn Poulos; nephew, Chance Patrick Poulos; daughter, Ashleigh Stokes; uncle, Wayne; cousins, Brent Davis, Kirsten (Jerry) Wallis and Taylor, Kellye (Dan) Weinhoffer and Cohen. May he rest in peace. Lord knows he deserved a break in life.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 12 noon until service time.
