Patsy Fay Miller Dickens

Patsy Fay Miller Dickens, age 76, of Long Beach, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

Patsy was born in Laurel, MS on January 25, 1947, and grew up in New Orleans, LA. She was a graduate of Chris’ Beauty College where she worked for 35 years. Patsy was loved by all her students. She was also a Tupperware consultant and make-up artist for MS Teen USA. She enjoyed pottery, painting, fishing, cooking, loved to dance, and spending time with family.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, William F. Miller and Verta Mae Griffin Miller; grandson, Kenneth Tyler Payne; and siblings, Charles Miller, Judy Miller Reid, Charlene Miller Lizana, and Emily Miller Evans.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Gabriel Dickens; children, Glenn Kevin Evans, Gregory Keith Evans, and Kendra Renee Evans Purser; grandchildren, Hayden R. Clegg, Alyssa N. Clegg Carrasco, and Kathrine N. Evans; great-grandchildren, Vivienne Payne, Asa Payne, Jameson Carrasco, Olive Carrasco, Carson Clegg, Noah Carrasco, and Viola Carrasco; siblings, John L. Miller and Alton R. Miller; and her beloved dog, Zek.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Dickens family.
