Patsy Graham

Patsy Hesler Graham, aged 85, of D’Iberville, MS, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

Patsy, the daughter of the late Helen Bourque, was born Patsy Maxine Parker on March 20, 1938, in McHenry, MS.

Patsy was a Christian, a lover of life, family, friends and animals, an avid reader of books, a fan of crossword puzzles and card games, and she enjoyed fishing, crabbing, picnicking and a good old Western television show or movie. She spent many Sundays watching NASCAR and cheering on the New Orleans Saints. Patsy was as strong as she was gentle and kind; she always provided shelter or a meal to whomever was in need, whether it was a person or an animal (squirrels included). Patsy was lovingly called “G-Maw” and “Patsy the Great” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Roseanna Henderson (Allen), Deborah Knewasser, Kenneth M. Hesler, Sr. (Bridgette), Glenn Hesler, and Gwendolyn Danforth (George); her step-children: Ginny Eaton Barajas, Allen Graham, Jr. and William Graham; 6 granddaughters: Starr Cartrett, Holli Hesler (John Thomas), Katrina Brinegar (Scott), Karen Clark (Brandon), Leslie King (Andrew) and Mary Meeks (Brandon); 6 grandsons, Kenneth M. Hesler, Jr. (Crysti), Robert (Bobby) Cartrett (Bianca), Kameron Hesler (Katie), George Danforth (Suzanne), Davis “Donald” Heslerand Joseph Danforth; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Allen (Budgie) Graham, Sr.; her mother, Helen Bourque; her son, Victor Hesler; her granddaughter, Katherine Henderson Shopshire; her great-grandson, Kristian Hesler; and the father of her children, Davis Donald (Doodle) Hesler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Biloxi, MS. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park, in D’Iberville, MS.
