Mr. Paul Bigot, age 83, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Monday, May 23, 2005, in Biloxi, MS. Mr. Bigot was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church and former member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Laurens, S.C., where he served in the fundraising activities. Mr. Bigot retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service. He also retired from Scott Air Force Base, Illinois as Manager of Food Services. He then retired from the Grand Casino in Gulfport and Tunica. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, was an avid bass fisherman, and was famous for his cheesecakes. Mr. Bigot is survived by his wife, Zelda F. Bigot of Ocean Springs, two daughters, Maria Morekis and husband, Charlie Morekis, and Rosemary Levine and husband, Dr. Joe Levine, two sons, Tony Bigot and Sharon , and Donald Bigot, all of Fort Walton, Beach, Florida, a stepson, Arvid L. Loper of Citronelle, AL., two sisters, Evelyn Olsen of Vancleave and Cora Lee Perek and Joe of Pascagoula, two special devoted friends, Marty and Joe Felner of Illinois, six grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 26, 2005, from 6-9 PM, with a 7 PM Rosary, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, May 27, 2005, there will be a 1:30 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church , where friends may call from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
