Mr. Paul Hicks passed from this earth Saturday, August 29, 2009, at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" Hicks of Biloxi; one son, Ed and Heather Hicks of Saucier; three daughters, Kimberly "Kim" Buchanan of Gulfport, Theresa and Mark Follweiler of Saucier, and Dana and Chris Martino of D'Iberville; eleven grandchildren, five grandsons, Mickey Hicks of Ocean Springs, Tim Buchanan of Gulfport, Paul William Buchanan of Gulfport, Shawn Chambers of Ocean Springs and Austin Martino of Biloxi; and six granddaughters, Meredith Follweiler of Savannah, GA, Mallory Follweiler of Saucier, Madison Follweiler of Hattiesburg, Rachael Buchanan of Gulfport, and Erin and Elissa Hicks of Saucier.
Mr. Hicks retired from the U. S. Air Force after twenty years of honorable service. He also retired from the National Park Service which he dedicated twenty three years of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, Nascar and spending time with his children, grandchildren and his beloved pets, Maxie and Tabbie. He will be sadly missed by all family and friends.

Visitation is Tuesday, September 1, 2009, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
