Paul Lewis Kendall, 95, of Biloxi, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the Pass Christian Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Kendall was born August 3, 1928 in Springfield, Illinois, to Lester and Ruth Kendall. He earned a degree in Ministry at the Bob Jones University, and was a retired Presbyterian Pastor. He preached for 60 years and his last church was Pineville Presbyterian Church in Pass Christian, Mississippi. He also served as a contract Chaplin at the VA. Paul served in the Army where he received a National Defense Service Medal, and a Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of Gulf Coast Opera, Hibernia Society, and Meridian Little Theater. He enjoyed being in the Krew of Venus, dancing, playing the piano, and gardening. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and will be missed by all that he knew.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn “Bettie” Kendall; parents, and sister, Norma Ramsey.
Survivors include his daughters, Marcia Gross, and Catherine Miller; grandchildren, Kendall Gross, Elizabeth “Bizzy” Gross, Kyle Miller, and Krista Miller; great granddaughter, Everly Smith.
Funeral Services will be held at The Bridge Methodist Church in D’Iberville, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 11:00 am until the service time. Interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi.
