Pearlie Mae Whittington

Pearlie Mae Whittington, 87, of Ocean Springs died Friday, April 27, 2007 in Gulfport. Mrs. Whittington was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs and had been a resident at Villa Maria for the past 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Whittington; daughters Shelly Carrol and Nell V. James; sisters Viola, Martha, Melvina, and Ida; and parents Robert and Mary Gill. Survivors include her son-in-law Robert James; five grandchildren Timothy D. Frisby, Daniel S. Frisby, Clifford C. Frisby, Theresa Cottman, and Russell L. James; numerous great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1, 2007 from 6-8pm at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Services will be Wednesday at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Ocean Springs.
