Peggy Ann King

Peggy Ann King, 78, of Ocean Springs, MS left to be with her loved ones on Friday, June 13, 2014, surrounded by her loving husband of 60 years and her children. Mrs. King was born in Philadelphia, MS and was a resident of the Coast for over 65 years. She was a 1954 graduate of St. Martin High School and was formerly employed as a jewelry manager at Kmart. Mrs. King was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her son, Aaron Joseph King; her parents, Fletcher and Myrtle Chunn; her sisters, Francis Richardson, Betty Gillis and Sarah Combs; and her brothers, Emmitt and Maurice Chunn. Her survivors include her loving husband, Aaron Roger King; her daughters, Lori King and Paula Cassidy (Keith); her son, Roger King; her grandchildren, Vanessa, Cherish, Tabetha, A.J., Shane and Chandler; her great-grandchildren, Maddox and Carliee Ann; five sisters; and one brother. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Seymour Cemetery.
