Perry Ely

Mr. Perry Ely, age 48 of Ocean Springs, MS, died Sunday, December 18, 2005 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Ely was a lifelong resident of the coast and was a Supervisor with the meter reading department of Singing River Electric Power Assn. He also was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Gloria Ely. Survivors include his wife, Isabell Ely of Ocean Springs, one brother, Jerry Ely and companion Jodi of Ocean Springs, two aunts, Francis Brown and Catherine Ely, three uncles, Howard, Jimmy, and Rufus Ely, one niece, Wanda Burkes, four nephews, Thomas Mayorga, Eddie Jackson, Joe Jackson, and Jeremy Ely, a God-daughter, Karen Strandberg, and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Ely was loved by many and will be sadly missed. A visitation will be Tuesday evening, December 20, 2005, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 2:00 pm, also at the Ocean Springs Chapel. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Vancleave, MS View and sign register book at www.bradfordokeefe.com.
