Pete M. Nicoladis, 80, of Gulfport died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 in Gulfport. Mr. Nicoladis was born in Gulfport, was a graduate of Gulfport High School, Class of '47 and a member of Club 47. He was also a graduate of MS State University where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Nicoladis was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and a former member of the Gulfport Business Club. He was a retired district manager of National Supply Co., a division of Armco Steel. He returned to Gulfport to reside in 2001. Survivors include his wife, Sue J. Nicoladis of Gulfport; two sons, Michael Pete Nicoladis of New Orleans and Timothy John (Janie) Nicoladis of Houston, TX; a step-daughter, Lynne (Ben) McCall of Dallas, TX; three step-sons, Jim (Karen) Cleek of Dallas, David (Rita) Cleek of Dallas and Bob (Tobey) Cleek of San Antonio, TX; a brother, Frank (Peggy) Nicoladis of New Orleans; a grandson, Adam Thomas Nicoladis; nine step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and cousins, Irene Stevens of Biloxi, Pete (Carolyn) Nicolaidis of Texas City, TX, and Callie (Larry) Alexander of San Antonio. The family would like to express their thanks to Odyssey Hospice and PDN. A Memorial Service will be at 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 9, 2009 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church where friends may visit one hour before the service. Interment will be private.
