Peter F. Haughawout

Mr. Peter F. Haughawout, 58, of Vancleave, MS, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, in Mobile, AL. Mr. Haughawout was a native of Ohio and had been a resident of the coast for the past 26 years. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of Vietnam with fifteen years of service. Mr. Haughawout was a priesthood member, holding the office of Teacher, at the Vancleave Community of Christ Church He had been employed with Northrop Grumman for the past 26 years as a computer programmer. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Haughawout and his father, Thurman I. Haughawout. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Janet Haughawout; two daughters, Pamela Haughawout of Birmingham, AL and Hope Haughawout of Vancleave; his mother, Margaret Haughawout, of Apache Junction, AZ, and three brothers, Michael Haughawout of Ft. Worth, TX, Robert Haughawout of Wichita, KS, and David Haughawout of Albuquerque, NM. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2006, from 5 till 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Vancleave Community of Christ Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Community of Christ Church, 12205 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Vancleave, MS 39565.
