Peter V. "Pete" Skrmetta, Jr.

Peter V. Skrmetta, Jr., a great friend, husband and father, died Monday morning, June 16, 2008, in Melbourne, Florida. Pete was born August 3, 1947, in Biloxi, MS and was known as Petsie - Troubles' son. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Peter V. Sr. (Troubles) and Lucretia Misko Skrmetta. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Evelyn Creel Skrmetta, of Biloxi, and two sons, all now living in Florida, Peter V. III and his wife, Michele, and Matthew Leland and wife, Lisa. Also surviving is an only sister, Brenda Skrmetta, of Biloxi, and his granddaughters, Kate Evelyn, Caroline, Saylor, Madison and Mallory. Private services will be held in Florida at a later date.
