Philip Joseph Capuano, Jr.

Mr. Philip Joseph Capuano, Jr., 81, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, May 16, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Capuano was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident. He was a longtime employee of the Buena Vista Hotel as chief engineer and the owner/operator of Philip Capuano Electric Company. Mr. Capuano was preceded in death by his father, Philip J. Capuano, Sr.; mother, Bessie Marie Toups Capuano; and a brother, Louis Ellis Capuano, Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Bryan and Julie Capuano; sister, Doris Capuano Ison; five grandchildren, Rachel Beaugez Freeland, Rhoda Beaugez Anderson, Jennifer Lynn Krueger, Nathan Bryan, and Anna Maria Landry; and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association, P O Box 409410, Atlanta, GA 30384-9410 or to the American Diabetes Association, 16 Northtown Drive, Suite 100, Jackson, Ms 39211. Visitation is Monday, May 18, 2009 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Biloxi City Cemetery.
