Phillip Joseph Dunlavy

Phillip Joseph Dunlavy was born on November 27, 1955 to James Joseph Dunlavy and Suzanne (Friend) Dunlavy in Martins Ferry, Ohio. He resided in Gulfport, MS for fifteen years. Phillip passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

He was retired from the United States Navy after twenty years of service to his country. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport, Ohio. He attended the Chosen Generations Church in Gulfport, MS. He loved his family and was a very caring individual. Phillip will be missed by all who knew him.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father, James J. Dunlavy; mother, Suzanne (Friend) Dunlavy Solomon; and sister, Mary Jane (Solomon) Helms.

Survivors include his siblings, Linda (Frank) S. Wills, John (Linda) W. Dunlavy, Vicki (Alan) Price, James A. Solomon Jr.,; daughters, Lisa Marie Dunlavy and Laura Jen Dunlavy; uncle, Robert (Loris) Friend; aunt, Mary and Cammell; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior.
