Phyllis Ann Rasmussen

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Rasmussen, 82, of Gautier, MS, died Friday, December 2, 2011, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Rasmussebn was born in Columbus, Ohio and had been a resident of Gautier for the past 41 years. She served as a councel woman for the City of Gautier from 1983 through 1984 and was a member of Civitan International in Gautier where she once was club president. Mrs. Rasmussen was preceded in death ;by her husband of 23 years, Melvin C. Rasmussen. She is survived by two sons Eric (Gigi) Duffey of Lake Cormorant, MS, and Keith Duffy of Lucedale, MS; and her sister, Marjorie Shitera of Mansfield, Ohio. The family is planning memorial services for a later date. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, is in charge of arrangements.
