Phyllis Lou Cole

Phyllis L. “Momma” Cole, age 80, of Gulfport, died Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Gulfport, MS. Mrs. Cole was born in Memphis, TN, on February 14, 1938. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crossword puzzles and her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Laveral and Maggie Pryor Beaty, her husband, Thomas L. Cole, children Michael Cole and Gwendolyn Kaufman, granddaughter Shardas Martin, great grandson Jarred Lewis, sisters Betty Joyce Beasley and Margie Rutherford. Mrs. Cole is survived by her children Kenneth Cole and Rebecca Cole, both of Gulfport, and Elaine Cuevas of Long Beach, sister JoAnn Bintz and brother Blue Beaty, ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018, from 10 am to 12 noon at the O'Neal Road location of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Free Church of God Cemetery in Gulfport.
