Ralph Armand Marchitto

Mr. Ralph Armand Marchitto, age 68, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, September 28, 2007, in Gulfport, MS. Mr. Marchitto was born in Patterson, N.J., and was a resident of Ocean Springs for 34 years. He retired from the US Navy Civil Service at Ingalls Shipbuilding. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Armand and Jennie Matano Marchitto and a brother, Richard Marchitto. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bernadine Omas Marchitto, daughter, Deborah (John) Wren and granddaughter, Rebecca Wren, all of Ocean Springs, MS., and a brother-in-law, George Omas of Washington D.C. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, from 10 AM -11 AM, with an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS., 39507. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
