Ralph Lechner, 92, of Biloxi died Friday, December 26, 2008 in Biloxi.
Ralph graduated from Sacred Heart in 1935. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp, worked as an independent wholesale wine businessman and retired from Harrison County. He was one of the original members of Mullet Brigade and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by his parents: Andrew and Eugenia Lechner, three brothers, four sisters and a great-grandson, Joshua Premeaux.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Myrtle Fryou Lechner (HIS GIRL), sons: Ralph (Sherry) of Vancleave, Ronald (Mary Lea) of Biloxi, Gary (Patsy) of Biloxi, and Phil (Mary) of Biloxi, grandchildren: Kim, Ronika, Ronald Jr., Hope, Trisha, Daren, Gary Jr., Phil Jr., Jeffrey, Rusty, Katie and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Monday, December 29, 2008, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 30, 2008, 10:00 a.m. Both will take place at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Interment is in Biloxi National Cemetery.
