Ralph Royal Bennett

Mr. Ralph Royal Bennett, age 86, of Ocean Springs, MS. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Mr. Bennett was born in Sunflower, MS. on January 25, 1925. He was a retired member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #568 for 46 years. He was known as a kind gentle man and was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Dale and Elsie Bennett and his wife of 45 years, Eleanor "Cricket" Bennett. Survivors include his loving children, three daughters, Sandra (Eddie) Mitchell of Montgomery, TX., Cynthia (Ron) Butler of Gulfport, MS., and Donna (Phil) Harvill of Ocean Springs, MS., three sons, Ralph "Buzzy" (Jenny) Bennett of Jackson, MS., Stevie (Sheila) Bennett and Tommy (Carol) Bennett, all of Ocean Springs, MS., 12 grandchildren, Mandy, Sam and Jeff Mitchell, Jimmy and John Graham and Ron Butler, Jr., Dana Ladnier, Brooke Vanover, Jessica Bennett Stein, Matthew, Austin and Corey Bennett and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, December 23, 2011, from 11 am until 12 noon, with a 12 noon chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Seymour Cemetery.
