Ralph V Hyer

Ralph V. Hyer Mr. Ralph V. Hyer, age 67, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2005. Mr. Hyer was born in St. Louis, MO, and served in the US Air Force for 21 years. He retired while stationed at Keesler Air Force Base. He was the former owner of Gorenflos Tackle Shop, had worked for Wal-Mart/Sams and the Grand Casino before retiring in 2003. Mr. Hyer was a member of many organizations including Hibernia, Krewe of Neptune, and the Coast Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by a son, Ralph D. Hyer, granddaughter, Cortney N. Hyer, daughter-in-law, Melanie K. Hyer, all of Biloxi, brother, Douglas K. Hyer of New York, NY, two nieces, Curry Hyer of New York, NY, and Melanie Hyer of Miami Beach, FL, and more family and friends. Mr. Hyer will be put to rest at the Biloxi National Cemetery, having never wanting to live north of I-10. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
