Ray D. Pearce, 77, Our Beloved Father, U.S.A.F. Retired T/Sgt departed this life to be with his Heavenly Father and family on Tuesday, December 4, 2007.
Mr. Pearce served in the military for 20 years. His assignments were in Pakistan, Korea, Vietnam and Italy. He was a Master Mason, a member of the Scottish & York Rites and a member of Joppa Shrine. He was a registered member of the Cherokee Nation Indian Tribe. His ancestors walked the trail of tears. Mr. Pearce was a charter member of Bible Way Baptist Church and active until his death.
Mr. Pearce is preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Gurka.
Survivors include three children, Ray D. Pearce II and his wife, Deanna of Biloxi, Linda Pearce of Kansas, Darrell Pearce and his wife Kipsey, three step children, Debbie Mitchell, Andy Herring, Cherri Furr and 16 grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, December 7, 2007 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Both will take place at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Interment at Biloxi National Cemetery with Military Honors.
