Raymond Arthur Nacol

Raymond A. Nacol, 66, on October 3, 2007 went to be with the Lord to join his mother, Mary Nacol White and his father, George N. Nacol. He was born in Houston, TX and moved to Biloxi, MS in 1960 when he met his bride of 46 years, Barbara L. Page of Biloxi. Coming from the oldest independently owned family of Jewelers in the United States, he opened his first store of seven on Howard Avenue in Biloxi in 1970. He was an active member of the Biloxi Jaycees, Elks Lodge, Jewelers Board of Trade, Gemological Institute of America and a graduate of the University of Trenton Jewelry School in Little Rock Arkansas. He also served in the Army for four years in the Paratroopers. His most favorite pass times included riding his motocycle with his sons and friends and camping in his motorhome. He is survived by three sons, Patrick and his wife Terri Lynn Nacol, Joseph and Jon Nacol, a daughter, Holly Ann Nacol, grandson, Sean Wayne Nacol , granddaughter, Constance Marie Nacol, great-grandson, Brayden Lee Nacol, all of Biloxi, two brothers, George Nacol Jr. of Houston, TX and Thomas Nacol of Vancleave. Survivors also include many nieces and nephews. Visitation: was Friday, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Services are today, Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at: Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Howard Avenue, Biloxi where friends may visit 2 hours prior to service.
