Mr. Raymond D. Washer, 60, of Birnamwood, Wisconsin, died Thursday, April 14, 2005, in Wausau Hospital.
Mr. Washer was born June 6, 1944 in Bay St. Louis, MS and was a longtime resident of the coast before moving to Birnamwood, WI. He retired from the Biloxi Police Department after 32 years of service with the rank of Sargeant. He was of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Washer was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Washer, Jr.; his father, Cyril Washer, Jr. and a brother, Cyril Washer, III.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Migut Washer; four children, John Washer, Richard Washer, Fred Washer and Tammy Washer; six step children, Patricia Cates, Jan Fulton, Kimberly Nunnery, Travis Nunnery, Michael Nunnery and Anthony Nunnery; his mother, Leotine Ziegler Washer; ten brothers and sisters and eighteen grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2005, from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. A procession will leave the funeral home at 1 p.m. for graveside services at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport with police honors at 1:30 p.m.
