RD Westbrook

RD Westbrook, 73, of Gulfport died Tuesday, August 9, 2005 in Gulfport. Mr. Westbrook was born in Smithdale, MS. He was a member of Burton Memorial United Methodist Church in Gulfport. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp who served in the Korean War and received two Purple Hearts. He was a generous person who never met anyone he didn't like. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Westbrook of Gulfport; a daughter, Debbie Porter of St. Louis, MO and a step-daughter, Michelle Stone of Alabama; a son, David Westbrook of MS; a sister, Agnes Diehl of Midwest City, OK; ten grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. The graveside service is Tuesday, Augtust 16, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th St., Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
