Rebecca Diane Elder Ball

Mrs. Rebecca Elder Ball, 51, of Biloxi, MS, died Thursday, December 13, 2007, in Biloxi. Mrs. Ball was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. She was a 1972 graduate of Biloxi High School and the University of Southern Mississippi, class of 1976. She was employed with Hancock Bank as Supervisor of the Mortgage Department and retired after 20 years. Mrs. Ball was preceded in death by her mother, Mab Hewes Elder. Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Hewes Ball; father, James C. Elder; former husband, James T. Ball; all of Biloxi, and numerous cousins and relatives. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2007, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. The family prefers memorials made to The Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of services.
