Rebecca Wilson Roberts

Mrs. Rebecca Wilson Roberts, age 50, of St. Martin, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014, in Destin, FL. Mrs. Roberts was born in Biloxi, was a longtime resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and worked at O'Charleys in Biloxi. The past 14 years she was a resident of Destin where she worked at Louisiana Lagniappe. She loved the beach, the sun, her family and devoted her life to raising her three sons into men. She was a mother to all, never judging anyone, very generous to anyone in need and fearless against any obstacle. Mrs. Roberts was raised a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sebrun and Lois Wilson and brothers, Butch Wilson and Billy Wilson. Survivors include three sons, Bo (Jessica Cleveland) Hudson, Joel Hudson and Jason (Jennifer) Hudson, adopted children, Sam Weems, Mike Wilson, Dougie Hayes and Maryann Joiner, three sisters, Bonnie Fountain, Janet (Bo) Weems and Peggy Wilson, four brothers, Bernie Wilson, Michael (Darlene) Wilson, Harold (Peggy) Wilson and Charlie (Tammy) Wilson, a granddaughter, Gracie Helen Hudson and a beloved dog, Wilson. Visitation will be on Friday, February 14, 2014, from 4pm until 6pm, with a 6pm chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
