Regina "Gina" Baker Moore, age 45 of Vancleave, MS, died Saturday, February 25, 2006 in Vancleave.
She was a lifelong resident of the coast, and graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1978. She was an accomplished horsewoman with involvement in numerous organizations, including the American Quarter Horse Association, MS Reining Horse Association, and the Dixie National Horse Show for the past twenty years. Her accomplishments include several awards in different riding disciplines, most recently for her Reining Horse Competition. Mrs. Moore was also the Director of Administration for CARES of Mississippi, Inc. for the past eight years. "Gina" was a devoted mother to her son Colby and the best wife, companion, and friend anyone could have. She will be sadly missed.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Kay Baker, her Aunt Lois, and her "Granny".
She is survived by her husband, P.J. "Joe" Moore, Jr. and son Colby Joseph Fulton, both of Vancleave, stepchildren Hope Moore Mosley, Kameren Moore, and P.J. Moore III, brother Byron "Deedy" Baker of Ocean Springs, nieces and nephews, Amy Weaver, and Brandon and Brooke Baker, and a great niece, Ella Weaver.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Friends may visit from 4:00 pm until service time.
