Renell Polovich Jones

Renell Polovich Jones, 63, of Saucier, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 after a courageous 20 year battle with cancer. Renell was born on October 8, 1944 in Biloxi to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Polovich. She was raised in Biloxi, and graduated from Biloxi High School in 1962. She married the love of her life, Roy W. Jones, Jr on August 17, 1963. Together they shared a love of life and a happy marriage and 3 children. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Renell was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She was a very talented artist who loved arts, crafts and painting. She even owned her own craft store. Her later years were spent as a manager of school uniform shoppes, her last job being manager of School Time in Gulfport before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed spending her retirement in the garden planting beautiful flowers and taking care of her grandchild. Renell was preceded in death by her sister, Patty Barlow. She is survived by her husband, Roy W Jones Jr, 2 sons Scott (DiAnne) Jones, Billy Jones; one daughter Shelley (Bill) Knox, parents Anthony and Peggy Polovich, brothers, David, Chris and Chucky Polovich, 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Friends may visit at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Southern Memorial Park. Arrangement made by Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Howard Avenue, Biloxi.
