Rhea A. Foster

Rhea A. Foster, 73 of Ocean Springs, MS and Galesburg, IL passed away on April 24, 2023 at her residence with family by her side.

She was born on November 6, 1949 in Galesburg, IL to Charles D. Edwards and Clara Tate-Edwards. She graduated from Carl Sandburg College with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, and she graduated from Galesburg High School. She worked as an office manager at Foster Insurance. She loved the outdoors, gardening, going on walks, reading, and adventures. She also loved spending time with family and friends.

Rhea was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Chad M. Tropp.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Foster; daughter, Amy Tropp; step children, Jeremy T. Foster and Benjamin Foster; grandchildren, Cameron Foster, Rayne Milner, and Emily Kernagis; and siblings, Linda Morgan, Mike Edwards, and Mary Nelson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
