Richard Dewayne Aiken,

Richard "Rick/Ricky” Dewayne Aiken, Sr., age 52 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Ocean Springs, MS. He was born on June 30, 1969 in Mobile, AL to Robert L. Aiken, Sr. and Martha Jean Aiken. He was a graduate of Pascagoula High School and completed the apprenticeship program at Ingalls. He was employed with Ingalls for thirty years. He served in the U.S. Army for four years and served in Saudi Arabia. He loved to play on his Dart league. Rick was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He will be missed by all that knew him. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Aiken, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Audra K. Aiken; mother, Martha Jean Aiken; children, Richard D. Aiken, Jr., Sara Elizabeth (Dakota) Goins, Nathaniel C. Bond, and James A. Aiken; and siblings, Robert L. Aiken, Jr. and Kellie Aiken. The family would like to extend a thank you to all those that took care of Richard in Ocean Springs Hospital ICU. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2021 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 911 Porter Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS.
