Richard Marvin Burke

Richard M. Burke, 76, of N. Biloxi, MS, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012, in N. Biloxi. Mr. Burke was born in Chicago, IL and had been a longtime resident of the coast. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and the former owner of K.O.A. Campgrounds in Ocean Springs. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Burke was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Marie Burke; parents, Richard A. and Viola Helder Burke; and sons, Raymond A. Burke and Bryan R. Burke. Survivors include his daughter, Lori (Perry) Meyers of Vancleave; brothers, LeRoy (Tricia) Burke of Somonauk, IL and Kenny (Tammy) Burke of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Jacie and Alexis Meyers; a number of nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Fred Forrest of Illinois. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, P O Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
