Richard Thomas Burns

Richard Thomas Burns, age 58, of Vancleave passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014. Richard was born in New York but remained a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was a former Merchant Marine and was recently memorialized on the merchant marine Wall in Ocean Springs, MS. He also worked in the oil industry at Baker Hughes. He is preceded in death by his son, Michaels Burns; and mother, Lena Bath.. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Burns; daughters, Jennie Bowen, Lauren Bowen and Michelle Martinez; step-father, John Bath; ten grandchildren; four fur babies, Katie, Probie, Abby and Ziba; many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
