Richard Carl Bain

Richard Carl Bain, 55, of Saucier, MS died Monday, July 27, 2009 in Gulfport, MS. Mr. Bain was a native of Massachusetts and moved to the coast in 1998. He was a US Navy Veteran and was employed at the Biloxi VA. He was a volunteer for the rebuilding of Grace Baptist church in Gulfport, MS. He also volunteered for the "coastal clean up". Mr. Bain is preceded in death by his father, Ovid Bain. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Mary Bain; mother, Shirley Balzer Bain; daughter, Rosalie (Ryan) Lewis; sons, Jeffery Bain and Samuel Rushing; sisters Valarie Bain and Leslie (Bob) Keene; 4 grandchildren, Samantha, Miracle, Sahara and Devin and many friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 31, 2009 from 11:30 am until 1:15 pm at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, Biloxi. A Graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm in Biloxi National Cemetery.
