Richard Clark, Jr.

Richard Clark, Jr. age 78, of Long Beach, died Friday, August 14, 2009 in Gulfport. He was born in Bassfield, MS. He previously served in the U.S. Army and was awarded two Purple Hearts. He was Catholic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Azaline Clark; two children; Danny Joe Clark and Leo Clark; and a brother, Robert Clark. He is survived by five children, Brenda Rena Clark, Denice Clark and Emmitt Clark, both of Gulfport; Richard Clark and Elizabeth (Pat) Necaise both from Pass Christian; and Wayne Clark from Gulfport; two brothers, Vincent (Allie) Clark from Victoria, TX, Herman (Jeannie) Clark from Pass Christian; two sisters, Dorothy (Pee Wee) Herrington from New Hebron, MS; and Helen (Dale) Hode from Gulfport; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport.
