Richard Vincent Evans

Richard V. Evans, loving son, husband, father, and brother, age 75 of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away on December 6, 2021 at home surrounded by family after a long illness of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Richard was born on September 23, 1946. He was born in and was a longtime resident of New York City before retiring to Gulfport, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Evans and mother Mary Evans. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Audrey Evans, four daughters, Mary Hardman, Alice Bourgeois, Debra Evans and Diane Evans, five grandchildren Ivy, Lily and Liam Bourgeois and Scott and Daniel Hardman. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or give a donation to the ALS Foundation in honor of Richard. Visitation will be Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS 39503 from 12:00pm until 2:00 pm followed by a service at 2:00 pm. Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Evans family.
