Mr. Richard Lee "Rick" Galloway, 38, of Pascagoula, MS, died Friday, June 3, 2005, in Pascagoula.
Mr. Galloway was a native of Oxford, MS and had been a resident of Ocean Springs most of his life. He was a 1985 graduate of Ocean Springs High School. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Gulf War (fire controlman) and received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, South West Asian Service Medal, Enlisted Surface Warfare Device and the Meritorious Unit Commendation. Mr. Galloway was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deana Harrison; a sister, Teresa Dawn Galloway; maternal grandparents, Jim and Lucy Dobbs and paternal grandfather, Alvis Lee Galloway.
Survivors include his daughter, Casie Lauren Mejia; one son, Chase Lee Galloway both of Gautier; his parents, Hal and Jimmie Galloway of Ocean Springs; a sister, Ginger Lynn Lashley of Ocean Springs; two grandchildren, Devon and Julian of Gautier; his paternal grandparents, Julius and Etoile McCoy of Booneville, MS and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Monday, June 6, 2005, from 5:30 till 7:30 p. m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. at St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs where friends may visit one hour before service time.. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
