Richard Gordon Hunt, Sr.

Richard Gordon Hunt, Sr., 66, of Biloxi, died Sunday, February 1, 2009 in Biloxi. Richard was a resident of the Gulf Coast for 38 years and a native of Woodbridge, NJ. Richard retired as M/SGT from the U.S.A.F. after 26 years of service. He worked 16 years in Civil Service before retiring from the Naval Construction base in Gulfport. Richard enjoyed playing golf. Preceded in death by his parents, Gordon A. and Mildred Hunt and his first wife of 44 years, Barbara Hunt. Survivors include his wife of 2-1/2 years, Juanita Hunt of Biloxi, daughters, Cheryll (Kirk) Arnold of Albequerque, NM, Christina (Chris) Kinnear of Tampa, FL , sons, Kevin (Rose) Hunt of Gulfport, MS, Richard (Debbie) Hunt, Jr. of Biloxi, MS, Andrew (Robyn) Jacobs, of Paragould, AR, Thomas (Sherry) Jacobs, of Escatawpa, MS, 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe.
